Network Rail Viaduct, London Bridge.
Another shoot for Building Magazine, this time to photograph the extensive works that are going on in and around Borough Market by Network Rail. The idea is to improve communications with Charing Cross by doubling the rail lines from London Bridge Station. This has caused major disruption in an already busy area and has seen the bridge built amazingly close to the local buildings, with one pub even losing their top floor so the bridge can go directly above it.
Grosvenor House Hotel Royal Wedding Afternoon Tea.
Food photography is something I’m being asked to photograph more frequently these days as it goes hand in hand with interiors photography. The Grosvenor House Hotel asked me to photograph their Royal Wedding Afternoon Tea, especially designed for the occasion by the hotel’s award-winning Executive Chef Nigel Boschetti. I was also told that I got the commission as I have managed to become the Marriott Hotels UK approved photographer. Happy days.
British Academy, 11 Carlton House Terrace.
Another shoot at the beautiful headquarters of the British Academy. This time to photograph the now finished refurbishment of No. 11 Carlton House Terrace. Formerly the home of William Gladstone, and designed by John Nash, the building now houses the British Academy and is open for functions. A couple of the food shots of the menu are also shown.
